Need Help with Salt Mix and RODI unit

Well this is my first post here and I wanted some help on a couple of issues. If I am posting in the wrong thread please let me know. I have always bought both Salt and RO water from my LFS for my water changes. After speaking to a friend he advised me to mix my own salt and make my own RO since I do not know what I am getting from the store. So I am considering the Red Sea Blue bucket Mix and the 5 stage plus RODI system with the upcoming BRS group buy. Would these items qualify for the group buy? I would appreciate any thought and help on this.

Sounds like a good choice What is included in the group buy isn't known until they post the group buy. You can go to the brs forum on here and suggest it, and see if you get enough following to put it on the buy
