Hey all! well i start off i am not a complete novice at saltwater i have had one 10 gallon saltwater tank setup for about a year and a half but due to money i could not continue it  So i have been reading about making some money with frags. Im not looking to make alot of money out of this just a few bucks so i can get my saltwater hobby going again. So with that being said this is what i have to work with

30 gallon breeder tank
NO sump
NO skimmer
2 power heads
1 HOB filter
I do need some help deciding on what light to get

Im really trying to keep cost down and I will not be getting any hard to keep corals or anything crazy so that is why i will not be using a sump or skimmer. Now the light issue i need to get to i was thinking about a coralife aqua light saltwater T5 dual fluorescent light. Again i need to keep cost down and if i do come into some money i will get a skimmer but a sump is really something i would like to try when i have more money. So any tips or advice please let me know! thanks!

LPS isn't bad to keep and sumps are not much I bought a small tank from petco during the $1 a gallon salr and had ace hardware cut me some glass for $4 and it was good to go

I agree sumps are the key to a healthy tank.
Lights are a different story. There are plenty of lights that will do what you want.
IMO
T-5's Color: Good Growth Good
Halides Color: Ok Growth Fast
LED's Color: Excellent Growth Slow

So if you want to pump out frags buy a metal halide. Although this will raise your electric bill and have a higher start up cost compared to that of t-5's
