I have been having issues growing Cheato lately. It was growing like crazy and I was throwing it away constantly. My nutrient levels were staying nice and low. Now my nutrient levels are rising and my chaeto isn’t growing. Its not dying but not growing either. Its lit by a H380 and has a mp40 moving the water. I get a nice tumble with it. Nothing has changed other than the chaeto not growing and my nuturiets continue to climb. I have Nitrtae of 25-50 (hard to read test) and PO4 of 0.20 (Hanna ULR). I do have sea lettuce that is growing well and I continue to have to harvest. There is nothing else in the fuge.

I ran an ICP test and came back with undetectable Molybdenum, Manganese, Vanadium, and low iodine. I am assuming this is my limiting factor. I purchased some Maxwell Chaetogro. Will this be the correct thing to dose to bring back my chaeto?

I attached my latest ICP test.

It should help except for iodine and Vanadium. I am not sure how useful vanadium is but its in red sea reef colors D. Iodine can easily be added too (I like red sea reef color A). I am trying the continuum aquatics equivalent of chaetogro and I am hoping it fixes my issues too. Water changes will also get them up too, which could help if your waste has accumulated.

I had the same problem few months ago and I solved it by using brightwell ferrion. Maybe you can give it a try.
