Need help with T5 bulbs

Hi,

My tank is 47-18-21

It'll be (one day, I hope) mixed reef.

My future light:
ATI Dimmable Sunpower 39W. 36 inch (I want some space for low light corals).
Reef Brite XHO Actinic Blue LED - 36 Inch (attached in the front of T5).

Is this a good combination? Anoter one was Kessil AP700 + AquaticLife 48 Hybrid T5 with 4 bulbs.

I need to choose 6 bulbs. ATI recommend:
4 Blue Plus
1 Coral Plus
1 Purple Plus

But I will use additional LED (Reefbrite XHO), do it change my bulbs choise? Or it stays the same? I want best colors possible.

Do I need to dim XHO? If yes how mutch? I can buy a simple manual dimmer.

Any idea about moonlight options? I don't have apex for XHO yet.

36 inch fixture over 47 tank is good? How high I need to install it?

Any idea about sunrise/sunset? How can I realize it?

I’m currently running kessil a360we over a 36” tank. I love them but plan on adding t5 when my new system is up. So my vote would be for the ap700 + t5 if that’s on the menu for you.

The a360’s don’t dim and that’s all I’ve run for the past 18 months or so. So no sun rise or sunset for me. (I’ve had it on the previous set of led’s but don’t miss it at all and neither does my system). So if you ask me why bother with the Dimmable t5 setup. On and off is all you really need unless you think you’ll enjoy the look of it ramping.

Good catch. Yes as well as the knobs. I meant they won’t dim automatically.
