Need help with torch

I've had this torch for about a year now. Last month it retracted and lost about 1/2 of a head. I dipped it and it seems to be stable now. A y tips to help it improve more ? I put it up high on the rocks in a low flow area. Please help

Sounds like you have done everything that I would suggest, if it's seems to be stabilizing I would just leave it alone and observe.. It doesn't look that bad in the picture, good luck!

Thanks , it was a 2 1/2 head gold torch. One large head and the baby head survived untouched. I just wish its tentacles would extend more
