I'm working on the scape for a 4x2x2 120 gal
I'm not sure why I can never get video uploads to work
I really like this. Room for coral and plenty of hiding places for fish. Good job.
EDIT : just came back to look a gain. Plenty of open swim room too.

Would anyone care to weigh in on this one? I'm trending toward a more soft/LPS tank with some predatory fish. I'll add a little more mature rock from my LFS once I get water in the system.

The view I would have most often:

Thoughts on this so far ? 65 gallon taller tank it’s 3 feet by 2 feet high
Just move the whole thing over a few inches. I think it's great. Let the corals grow to take up the space. With the rockscape being sparse, you're going to have ease of maintenance, a healthier tank overall and wont be plagued with the water flow problems everyone gets.

This is great. I would go with it.

This is great. I would go with it.

I made a small-ish change to the front right of the left structure.

I replaced the chunkier piece with a smaller piece. I felt like the first iteration was just too big in that area.

Ok everyone.

Probably going to put this in this weekend.

Option 1

Or option 2 (took two pics to see the little cove area)

I really like option 1 because it looks like puzzle pieces that were separated and I like option 2 because there’s a cove lol.

That looks great and will work nicely. You've got room for water flow, hiding spaces and even shade for less light tolerant stuff. Plus you can easily get to all the glass to clean it.

Looking for some input on my 4x2x2 build.

Thoughts on this. 100 Gallon IM Tank 48x24x20. Tallest rock is 18 inches. I’d like to make this a mixed reef tank. Thoughts?

Hi guys! I would appreciate some feedback on the rock structure I’ve come up with please. I haven’t had a reef tank in many years, and my last tank was a 125 gallon, so this little IM Nuvo 15 gallon is a little different. Unless everyone thinks this is a train wreck, I like it, and I’d like to go with it. I think I want to get the rock “cooking”, and if I need to I can always remove some of the smaller piece of rock. I figure best to have too much rock at this point rather than nor enough. And nothing is glued or epoxied at this point. What do you guys think?

Pros:
I think I like it lol!
Lots of levels and places for coral mounting
Lots of hidy-holes for fish and inverts
Structure does not touch the back glass of the tank at all

Cons:
I’m worried it’s too much rock
The rock is possibly too close to the glass on each side
The rock my be too high
The rock may protrude into the foreground area too far

Thank you for your help!

I'm looking for help with my tank. It is 150ish gallons 44w x 36t x 24d. I've removed all the plastic plants and have added a couple live rocks as place holders. I've got 120lbs of rock on the way and a cardboard building spot to build a new scape. This is an established fish only tank that I want to add coral to down the road after I get the nutrients under control....Nitrate is at 75 :(

Your scape ideas are appreciated. I'm going for a natural looking tank.

You need more rock. Not just for height but depth.

Could use some advice for my 29 gal scape.
