Just spitballing suggestions. Coral growth will add to the shape in the long run. You have a better idea of what you will keep and how it might fill in.

Yea that's true I will definetly keep in mind coral growth. And I was also wondering if there would be a good way to incorporate some Tonga branch rock into the scape cause I have alot of it.

First try. Will be adding about 10 pounds live rock, likely raising the right side some. Will have an inch of white sand.

I like this (without the arch because it looks unnatural). The first layout is natural looking and has nice front to back depth. Let your future corals make the arch.

Fyi, your sand won’t raise your rocks. I’d highly recommend having the rock sit right on the glass. If you put it on the sand, it will settle over time and make its way to the glass anyway, and along the way, it might shift your structure.

Thanks for the feedback and advice donkey. I was just about to research if I should put the sand in first....

Sand after rocks. I like the first aquascape better also. Let coral growth create any connection in the future for a more natural look.

I think you should get rid of the lone rock in the front, but other than that I like it

Yeah that's what I was thinking too, but kind of want a small island for zoanthids. Maybe I'll just make it smaller

It would depend on the type of fish too. Like hawk fish would stay at the bottom we’re like cardinal fish would stay in the open.

Nah, this is great! Imagine it with 4-6 inches of coral on that rock.
