Need help with your aquascape?

The toadstool is the the thing that got my attention immediately but it's right in thr middle of the tank. If you move it somewhere else it will also open up that area.

I would try to make the 2 sides of the tank more different, by moving some rock from one side to the other.

If you manage not to split the tank right in thr middle, even better.

Yes, agree however that will put two large corals next to each other ....

Having the 2 large corals next to each other will most likely look good.

Hi so I have almost completed my first ever Aquascape for my new 6ft i still have to blend the rock seams in could you have a look and give some tips please tank will be sps dominant i was thinking the smaller rock i might be able to put some hammers or torches on.
tank is a waterbox 220.6
Tank height 24 inches my highest point on scape is about 12.5 inches on the left bommie

If you break the symmetry, it will look more natural and right now it's completely symmetric.

One thing I learned from freshwater aquascapers is to not be afraid of putting big stuff right in front.

Then, if you add small stuff at the back it will greatly increase the sense of depth of the tank.

- Don't leave the 2 main structures at the same depth
- Put small rocks in the back to increase the sense of depth

It's difficult to see your scape with just the side views.

In 1 year tank will be full and if you manage to keep a good portion of the sand free, the tank will look more balanced.

I tried removing a couple of rocks, you could place them on top of other rocks, to make the left and right sides of the tank have different heights.

OK thank you. I will remove some of the rocks from the sand bed and try and change the height of one of the sides.

Wat can I do with this any ideas would be great want to redo first going to remove mushrooms from rocks and then redo aquascape thank you for any suggestions

It depends on the type of corals and fish you want to put there.

Yeah i only started with saltwater in February this year I bought an established tank which was already scaped. I have been doing a lot of research on the internet And here in the forums to get ideas

@reefwreck If you do a 2 island reef (1 big and 1 small) you can't go wrong.

please help! I’m always unhappy with my setup. It’s a forty gallon. I’m always trying to move rockwork around and make it look decent. (Please ignore the algae, I had to use conditioned tap water and just removed a sump so we’re going through a bit of a recycle *facepalm*)

I wouldn't touch the structure on the right. That diagonal line helps in making the tank look deep.

I would try ditching the arch and transform that left structure into a much smaller island, following the last example I posted.
