Need help with ZEOvit.

I did it from the beginning and I cant complain. Cycled the tank with dr tims and microbactor 7 along with ammonium hydroxide. Once that was done I started zeovit method (zeolites, carbon, zeostart, and zeobak) and vibrant and continued dosing microbactor 7. I went through an ugly stage of diatoms then added some snails and it went away. I never had any algae issues and I run a barebottom tank.
Make sure you have a good skimmer. All the carbon dosing and bacteria can to be removed by skimming.

I should be skimming wetter.

Sorry, so did the snails have an impact on the diatoms? Should I get them in advance?

I’m unsure if my skimmer is any good or not. I need to learn more about skimmers. I currently am skimming water, it’s just coming out as cloudy water.

Yes the snails got rid of it and a yellow eye kole tang picks at rock.

Hi all. I received the ZEOlite rocks, ZEOstart, ZEObak, ZEOFood, activated carbon and bought media bags to put the rocks and carbon in, to go on the sump (no space for a reactor).

What is my best way to proceed for myself? I have a 75l tank. Also what level should my nitrate and phosphate be before I start?

U can read this thread it will explain what is zeovit. As far as nitrate and phosphate level it doesn't matter what level you start with u can dose zeo.

So I have no coral right now, so do I just use ZEOstart, ZEObak and the ZEOlite rocks? With the carbon?

yes dose 50% for 3 months then increase 10% each month until full dose. U can keep your light off or less so u can minimize algae.

It all depends on your tank chemistry each tank mature differently however after 6 months will be a good start. U can add lps or softy earlier but Sps then its better later

Hi @ycnibrc so I have been dosing for one week now. But my nitrate and phosphate are the highest they’ve ever been.

I’m due to do a water change tomorrow. Is it okay to do a 30% one? And is there anything else I can do?
