I have a square back atheist I got a few days ago I've notice it hasn't been eating and today wasn't active I moved him to a 10 gallon tank I had running he still doesn't look good at all just sitting against a rock any ideas what I can try to help this fish

Here's a pic before I moved it

I have used a small amount of garlic juice from my minced garlic jar added to pellet food before with good results.

I don't see anything obviously wrong from the photo, other than being kind of thin. I would suspect either internal parasites or starvation or both.

Put a few pellets in garlic juice and no responds from the fish it's still just sitting against a piece of live rock

Hmmm. :( With no access to live food you may be out of luck...

Hey, I don't know if it'll work, but how about live copepods? Many LFSs carry Tigger-Pods. They're not cheap but it's a chance you could take to try and get him started. If he won't eat them they're always good for your tank.

You might also have luck with nutramar ova. I've found that it's a little bit like fishy candy XD

It does sound like this fish is probably done for, but if you want to keep trying...
