So when I was feeding today I noticed one of the supports on the top of my tank has a crack in the plastic that's starting. Wanted some ideas on a way to fix this without draining the tank and putting a new support on. Was thinking of filling it with some JB Weld or maybe attaching some acrylic strips running from front to back on either side of the support. What do you think?

What size tank ? My cousin had a 55 with a broken support that we put a ratchet strap around because it bowed out about 4" but I also had a friend that broke both supports on his 240 and we ordered a new top but the tank blew out before we received it.

It's 220 gallons, I'm thinking that if I put 1 piece of acrylic on each side of the support it will actually be more support than the original plastic. Now I'm just trying to think of how to attach the acrylic to the existing plastic? Any ideas?

Put bar clamps in place, cut it out, cut glass to fit in place, lower water just an 1" or r, silicone glass pieces in place, ya might go with 1/2" thick for bracing. If your tank is glass you must use glass, if its acrylic, then you should think eurobracing

That's sort of what I was thinking about doing but on either side of the brace because of where it cracking it's rite on the edge of the brace. Thanks for the video!
