are you looking for point and shoot or DSLR? and what kind of budget do you have for said camera?

Sounds like something just point and shoot...I can't believe the shots my friend gets with the Sony Cybershot also...I think it's about as simple as it gets, is small and user friendly. I have a Canon DSLR but I am hoping to get a Cybershot for Mothers Day for easy on the fly picture taking!!
