I have a feather duster that looks like something is eating the tube does anyone know what it might be here is a picture of it and is there anything I can do. Last night it just had 1 spot on it and a thin looking spot, now it has 2 holes and the thin spot . I have also had something eating a blue stars leg. In the first picture it looks like some kind of worm is in it but not sure if it is the feather dusters .

Oh i do well I am gonna pull those suckers out tonight

Do you think that that is what is wrong with both the star and the feather and will they be ok

Thank you for your response I really appericate it

I dont know for sure if that is the problem but its the only thing that I can think of.

I would keep a close eye on them both.

Hopefully they recover from there injuries.

I think it is a tuxedo but I got it out last night and today my poor stars leg is even worse can I put some kind of meds on it

could it be the clean up crew that's the only other thing I can think that it could be but the star has been in there for 4 week and they have not messed with it before

I can not say what the issue is with the Feather Duster (boy that is a nice colored one). Linkia are prone to dissolving secondary to less then ideal water quality or starvation. Unfortunately there is no resolution to the star fish issue and no medications you can give it.

sorry everyone it has been a little bit since I have been on here since then both have died and the place where I got the starfish from said that they have been having a lot of trouble having them live my daughter also had one that died so my thoughts are be very careful with these guys . I am so sad because these are the first things that I have had die . I dont know what went wrong but I must be doing something right because I have a basket star that is doing wonderful and have had him now for about 5 months . Anyway I would like to thank all of you for you time in answering my questions I really do appericate it .
