So today my copper band didn't come out to eat! Found him under a ledge in my tank. Looks like he is shaking his body. Did a freshwater dip then tested my water. All levels are perfect. Plz Help

How long have you had the copperband? Have you added anything recently? Any aggressive tankmates?

Shaking or twitching can sometimes be defensive posturing but can also be signs of an external parasite.

I have had him almost 6 months. Only added 1 coral beauty in last month. He has been swimming upside down and in circles. So I did a dip in medicated water for an hour. Now he is just laying there. All other fish are doing great though

Ok hope he makes it through next 24 hrs. I see nothin out outside of him. So must be something internal. Either way may be best to medicate all fish just in case. Would hate to lose the rest of them.

You can use Prazipro in a DT, but during the freshwater dip you should have seen tiny white worms fall out of the fish's gills if he has flukes.

Also, head twitching is normal behavior for a CBB and other butterflies. It's a feeding response. @saltyhog may have video of this behavior for comparison purposes.

Nothing fell off or out of him during the dip. I checked

When you use prazi in the display tank it will treat them all.

Well I just went to check on him and looks like he swam into my carpet anenome! This really sucks. I'll get the prazipro in the am and start looking for another one soon

I feed the nem every 2 days with shrimp or squid. First coral I bought before I started adding fish. This is first time he has gotten one. For all I know the CB was dead and the water current put him in it.

Trust me ask anyone here about a carpet. Had one on here ate every fish in his tank.
