What is the absolute largest amount of water I can change out safely withoutt causing more damage to levels in my 32 gallon to offset the high Alkalinity (26), Calc (530) ? Every other Parma is spot on . Salinity 1.024, Ph 8.2 RO water is used along with Instant ocean reef crystals. All corals (Duncans, finger leather, acan, flame torch and trumpets) are 1/4 way open.

i would agree with the above the minimum i would do is 75% i use the red sea coral pro salt which is recommended to use as soon as the solution is clear.. im also curious as to how you got the alk so high...

I think most people will say to not do more than 50%. Just what I've always heard.
I believe I've got around 25 actual gallons of water in minus rock and substrate. So far I've got around 10 gallons mixed up not sure if I should bump it up another 5 gallons making it 15 total. That I would change. It was a total air head mistake on the dosing of calcium. Thanks for all the input and suggestions!!
Reef crystals make up at a higher cal and alk. It's used in tanks mostly that consume a lot of those two things quickly to offset dosing.

Just as I thought...14 is way too high dump the reef crystals and get regular instant ocean salt
Problem with high alk isn't actually the alkalinity. If running an ultra low nutrient tank, high alk is fine (sps tank) but when your nutrients raise higher than zero, it throws your system into chaos. Not many run ULN, so the problem becomes the nutrient/alk ratio.

I agree man you have nitrates and thats perfectly ok to have some in the tank but the ratio is thrown off as stated above.. and is your magnesium at 2000?! that seems really high to me... i keep mine way lower.. and depending on the tank i keep my salinity at a constant 1.026 or 35ppt but thats not necessary and nitrates i usually keep at below 10, i would reduce the alk and magnesium in my opinion
