I have a newly established sca 150, has 7 fish in it so far. I introduced 2 female flame wrasses and a earmuff last week and a couple days after saw a bunch of spots that looked like ick on the flames. They were eating and no one else in the tank showed any signs of anything including the earmuff so I just kept a eye on them. A couple of days later they had no more spots everybody seems extremely healthy. It’s been a week and everybody looks fine. I was thinking of pulling everybody from the tank but didn’t know if it was worth the hassle of trying to catch everybody. I have a extra 30 Breeder but didn’t want to use copper in it unless I have to, I was going to drill it and use it as a frag tank down the road. What would you guys do?????????

In the tank I have
Sunburst
Miatus Blenny
Earmuff wrasse
2 female flames
Moyer leopard
Goby

In qt
29 tall at 2 more weeks till ready
Chevron tang
Achilles tang

10gal qt 2 weeks till ready
Purple tang

10 gal ready
2 blotched

Is impossible to tell... Cryptokaryon often 'disappears'. If you're going to be adding the fish in your QT to that tank - IMHO - you need to take the fish out and let it go fallow for 72 days. By the way whats is an sca?? and btw some would say you're adding way too many fish too quickly. I personally dont subscribe to that thinking - but =- beware it's coming.

ps - you can still use a tank thats had copper in it as a frag tank.

The fish currently in the display are not very prone to Ich. That will change once the achillies and chevron go in. Were the fish in the display now treated for ich before going in? If it were me I’d probably just put the tangs in when they are ready but be ready to treat if the tangs start showing ich. Achillies are not a good candidate to just fight off ich. Especially not a newly introduced one. It seems that a lot of people on this site are not fans of hypo salinity but, with your tank being recently set up, I would run that on the display if the tank does end up having ich.

Sca Aquariums is a company that builds tanks. After I go fallow and introduce the fish I have in my qt I’m going to slow down. Just came across the fish as really good deals and couldn’t help my self lol

I’m also adding all the those tangs because I wanted to introduce them at the same time
