Need help

I have a newly established sca 150, has 7 fish in it so far. I introduced 2 female flame wrasses and a earmuff last week and a couple days after saw a bunch of spots that looked like ick on the flames. They were eating and no one else in the tank showed any signs of anything including the earmuff so I just kept a eye on them. A couple of days later they had no more spots everybody seems extremely healthy. It’s been a week and everybody looks fine. I was thinking of pulling everybody from the tank but didn’t know if it was worth the hassle of trying to catch everybody. I have a extra 30 Breeder but didn’t want to use copper in it unless I have to, I was going to drill it and use it as a frag tank down the road. What would you guys do?????????

Sorry about your problems, based on your description it does sound like it could be ich. If you want to be 100% sure and plan to introduce more fish down the road I would treat. Alternatively, can continue observing for any signs in the future and then treat.

Based on your 3 tangs, I would pull and treat. I also wouldn't worry about using the 30g system with copper. Glass and silicon do not absorb copper readily so there wouldn't be any future issues using it as a frag tank. Just clean it well when you are done.
