Need help!

Hello everyone I noticed some bright red stuff growing on my candy cane corals would anyone know what this is exactly? I attached a photo but it is hard to tell. I circled the red stuff.

Tough to tell from the picture. How long have you had the candy cane? If you are concerned, just pop the frag out and scrape the stuff off. Otherwise, just monitor things...if it is irritating the candy cane....then again.... scrape it off the coral.

I have had neon candy cane colonies that have grown like weeds. If yours grows likewise, the density of the heads will eventually smother out whatever it is.
