Need help

Hey guys I need a little help,I just bought the ai prime 16hd and everything works good just trying to figure out the lighting schedule but I have a 36 gallon bow front and there's a plastic that runs across the tank that used to hold the old light and its causing a shadow so my question is if I cut it out would it mess up my tank??

You could cut that out
it's a great idea if you need water on your floor and a broken tank

they are there for a reason, its a brace to hold the tank together. you could make a new style but you would have to have a dry tank
