I have something that is crawling all over my rocks. They're tiny, white/clear and really stinking fast! I just spent 40 minutes trying to catch one in a turkey baster without success. They move than stop, than move again and when they stay still they are almost impossible to see.

Might be a separate issue but I'm noticing certain areas of my rock seem to be crumbling like something is munching on it. What eats rock?

Corals seem to be fine but have had several mysterious fish deaths.

It's probably copepods or amphipods.

If so - copepods or amphipods which are free food for fish and coral

Some of them look like that, but the larger ones are more box shaped and seem to have a shell of some sort. They just dart in and out of holes so I never seem to get a good look at them.

The top picture looks close. Do they free swim like a bat shot out hell when spooked?
Theyre quick and when approached will dive into a hole or curl up like a roly poly
If possible, please take a video with cell phone at least 20 seconds under white lighting for clear identification

Here is some video, watch the rocks for movement and more and more will appear as they move.
