Need ID before adding

So this little starfish came in on a monti I just bought. It's still floating for temp acclimation but I wanted to figure out what it is before I let it into the tank. Want to make sure it's not going to eat anything or cause any problems. At first I thought it was an asterina but after a second I realized its way bigger than any asterina I've seen before.

Asterina starfish. Most are okay, although their populations can get out of control and in some cases, certain types have been known to eat corals, like zoas. I would pitch it and not risk it.

Wow I didn't realize they got that big. Yeah I'm not risking that right now with my tank. Thanks for the quick response!!

In my experiences very invasive, they multiply like crazy. Good choice getting rid of it
