Would anybody know what this is?

I don't have any other coral yet - just added cleanup crew, two clowns and a goby. Any idea if the turbo snails, scarlett hermits, or emerald crap eats this anemone? Or what should my next step be? (I'm still 5-6 months I think before adding anything as far as coral or a more typical anemone) What's also strange is I took this tank from father-in-law who had took it down nearly a year ago. He had the tank sitting out in his garage with some water in it, albeit stilll and no movement with the liverock still in it. He packed up the liverock about three months ago and shipped to me in wet newspaper. I've had them in my tank now about two months...surprised this anemone would have lived through all that? The only other thing I introduced before this popped up was some live sand.

The other strange things when looking last night, I can't see any footing or stalk of any sort. It's almost like a patch of grass? Would this be some sort of infant stage Mojano?

Its not a majano, its a patch of colonial hydroids. The tubes appear to be empty, you may have gotten lucky and they're already dead, but most likely not.
