I believe this stuff hitched on a rock. I know one is Grape Algae.
The other stuff has been a pain trying to clean off the rocks. My pincushion urchin doesn't much touch it. Lawnmower blenny didn't eat any of it.
I was thinking of taking the rocks that I can out, and do a long peroxide dip.

Hello and welcome to R2R!

That’s one nice macro algae collection!

Hopefully it is isolated to a single or couple rocks that can be removed and cleaned properly.

Thanks, It's in the main tank. So it is growing all over. I don't have many corals, so I am thinking of doing a peroxide dip in a bucket. The one rock I will have to get the carpet anenome to move.

Thanks, I've been lurking for a while. Try to do some research before any issues.

I figured the Lawnmower Blenny would have loved this macro algae.

I would too.... maybe a tang would, don't know for sure though....

Yeah, I am thinking about a tang.
Reading up more. I think I'm going to do a peroxide spray, and not a dip.

I don't know what kind of algae that is.It does look invasive though. If it was growing in my tank I would treat with peroxide for sure. Definitely look into your parameters as well. You may have an excess of nutrients present.
