Need ID help w growth & hitchhiker.

Hi All:

Hoping someone can help me ID the growth on part of my GSP colony. Just noticed it this week when the lights were out. GSP still fully extends and opens up - but concern this growth (maybe some sort of sponge) may overtake. Any ideas what it is? Safe? Remove?

Also, while maybe related or not, I noticed two tentacles popping in and out of the GSP rock island also. Never more that two. Attached a photo and short video too. Any idea what this might be?

Sponger is ok. you can trim them, but they are benign, if not beneficial. The tentacles are of brittle star, it think

Tentacles looks a bit like a micro brittle star but I could be wrong, I just ordered some of them from addictive reef keeping. Hard to make out the details in your picture, blurs out when I zoom in. See if you can get a better picture of it

Edit: I'm not quite sure either way, doesn't quite match up with standard brittles I have seen color pattern wise but suppose that might vary.
