Not sure where to post this but can someone help me ID what the heck this is? Good or bad?

Look like Nudibranch.

probably a bad guy. To id, need shot of the other side (dorsal). Looks like a zoa eating guy. I, however, am no expert on nudis.

I found a zoa nudi just a couple days ago and have not added corals for over a few weeks. I dip everything too. Only found it when I moved my zoas to a new pico system designed for them. Explains why the zoas I got back in Nov were not overly happy since. Probably on those. Guess dips do not protect against everything. Especially eggs.

Anyone think I could add a zoa eating nudi to a tank with only pest palys and have it get rid of them?

Be gentle on me....what's a "dip"?
a pest dip to kill bad bugs. Look up coral rx and those methods.

For all yall. They come in as egg sacks and dips don't work on them. Quarantine and Flatworm exit treatment seems to be the only fix.

Thanks. I have never run into them and use flatworm exit as part of the dip process. Guess it does not kill eggs either. I will use more flatworm exit in my pico tank.

I found about 6 more tonight crawling on my dragon eyes. They were all closed up. I did another Bauer dip and searched for eggs but don't see any. I'm moving all my Zoas to quarantine tank. How long should I quarantine for? Also, if there are no Zoas in the display what can I expect to happen to any nudis still in the display? Will they go after other coral?

From my understanding nudis are pretty specific in their eating habits and should die. Maybe someone else will chime in for a more definitive response though. I would QT for at least a month and make sure you do not find any for 10 days. Check the web for their egg cycle to make sure you have it covered.
