Been dealing with this green stringy algae for some time now. I run mostly blues and violets during the day for lighting with maybe a 8% white, green and red spectrum for about an hour. Feeding once a day every 2-3 days. Been using Vibrant and MB7 for the last 2 months. Can’t seem to get rid of it. Any help?

Looks like Green Hair Algae (GHA) from the pic.

Are you over feeding by any chance? Can be due to too much nutrient in your water... and with your lights, they probably are in paradise.

I have a clown, wrasse, tail spot blenny and about 10-13 various CUC. Feedings are once a day every 2-3 days. I don’t think it’s my feeding schedule. I only feed pellets and sprinkle whatever the fish can eat.
