1. ID the "thing" in red?
2. what are these lines/strings in blue?
3. also what coral is this?

To answer, 1 and 2 possibly look like this:

And 3 is some type of leather coral… hard to tell from what’s visible in the pic but could be cabbage, could be devils hand
