I put the recommended 100 drops in my 55 gallon quarantine tank, the most affected was my blue tang, but I haven’t seen any white spots in like 3 weeks. It's certainly something, but I'm doubtful that it's ich. Do other fish have the same white spots? What was your dosage for the cupramine? Which fish was the most heavily affected by your recent ich outbreak, and are they also showing spottage?
dang, is it deadly, ive done abit if research on it there’s no treatment for itFish in QT may be stressed, Lymphocystis?
True I’ll definitely look into it, yeah it’s tough to read the colours on test kit.Looks a little large to be ich. Man, I would suggest a Hanna Copper checker. They make life SO MUCH easier when dosing cupramine “ionic copper” or “chelated copper” like Copper Power. I really like the fact that chelated copper has a broader therapeutic range than ionic copper. Not that cupramine can’t be effective, it just has a smaller treatment window. So if you have a very small therapeutic range using cupramine the Hanna is really nice.
It’s dead nuts accurate also. No guesswork
involved. And that way you know therapeutic levels were kept the entire time. Those dang color charts are dang near impossible to read!
It does kind of look Lymphocystis ish. Hmm.
