Woke up this morning turned on my lights, and this yellow jellyfish looking thing shot up to the top of the water.

Have never seen it before, anyone know what this is and should i put it back in my tank?

Kinda blurry, but reminds me of some kind of pteropod.
Yes, sorry all i have is cell phone camera.
It looks like a featherdsuster head that pulses like a jellyfish and has a seed on the bottom of it it is all yellow.
The pics on google for pteropod don't look anything like it.

Should i put it back in my tank?

Its in a tupperware tub and still swimming around!

Well after more research, it seems it could indeed be a small/baby jellyfish or the free swimming stage of a hydroid.
Probably wouldn't hurt anything to be in the tank, but they don't fare well against pumps, powerheads, and overflows.

Here is a better pic and a better video to show what it swims like and it is still alive! It is awesome looking, I can tell you that much. It is still just swimming around!
