Need identification fort his macro algae

Just randomly showed up in my tank

Looks like some form of hair algae or bryopsis. Typically this is a nuisance algae. If you can remove the rock and scrub it in a saltwater bath, it will go a long way to preventing the entire tank from getting over run (which can happen quickly). Also check your nitrate and phosphate levels.

Isn't go with maidens hair but the look of it.
Pull some off. Is it firm and stuck to the rock? A turf alge or maidens hair. Squishy ? Prob a Gha
