Need Imput: Moving tank to new stand tomorrow

Moving my 29g tank to new stand
Heres my plan, please chime in if you think something can be done better. The fish and corals are going to be in a tote for maybe an hour and half

1 Remove all rock and corals to 20g tote with fish add power head for oxygenation and heater.

2 drain remaining tank remove equipment from stand and previous sump.

3 level new stand in place and fit new plumbing. (Have to glue/cut a few connections because its hard to measure without tank being on stand) going to wait a few hours before running water.

4 fill up and add all equipment. Im not going to be running water through the sump for a few hours to allow the pvc to “cure” and running power heads in.

5 going to be doing a few wc the days after to make sure my water wasn't contaminated with anything or anything out of my control. Also running rox carbon.

We may all face this task.
Is pvc glue connections safe for fish after cure, within a day or 2?
Should we circulate 1/2 tankful saltater for a day then discard prior to adding livestock.
Others have experience with this?

Sounds good. Only thing to consider, is you know your own skills and speed when it comes to hard plumbing. If it’s really simple and you can do it fast and easy then go for it. But could consider just using barbs and tubing to get the system running, and do hard plumbing at a later date. Plenty to do on move day, and don’t want to add to stress or have something go wrong (like missing a plumbing piece etc. We’ve all been there).

I glue pvc and have water running within the hour. Have put together multiple manifolds on running reef tanks and haven’t had a problem.

I asked a lot of people how long i should wait before running water. My lfs told me you could right away like 10-15, my father has done a fair share of plumbing told me right away. My neighbor is a contractor and told me 15mins. I asked on here and was told others have done 30mins. Called brs and they told me to wait a few hours, just to run powerheads

I've personally ran water through fittings about two hours after being glued. I have a lot more water then you so any chemicals may be more diluted. In terms of leaks I've never had an issue. Keep us updated, I'd like to know how you make out.

My father is helping me quickly cut and glue. It should be only 4 cuts.

Most stressful thing i did in my life, waiting for the pvc to finish curing maybe 4 hours
So much i need to do. Still need to fix rockwork, reattach maybe 20 frags. Make rodi, more saltwater for wc tomorrow. Im going to fix the cables tomorrow. Wish me luck. Sump is not yet connected

Summed up the courage to add the pipes now. Read a previous forum where people hadnt had a issue. Waited 4-5 hours. A bulkhead was leaking. I hate bulkheads i never mess with them. Tightened a 1/8-1/4 inch. Doesnt seem to be leaking. Have to make some water fast return chamber is running low. Pimped out plumbing is looking good. Wish me luck guys!!!

Be careful, you can over tighten bulkheads with rubber gaskets.
Perhaps others can help.
Something like hand tighten plus 1/4 turn?

Ya i was afraid of that, i think as i was tightening the union the bulkhead loosened. I used a wrench as it was hard to access the cramped area. It tightened without resistance. It seems to have stopped leaking, but will keep a watchful eye. Im going to be doing a few 10 percent water changes in the next few days to be safe. Will also fix the rock work tomorrow. So tired, but happy everything turned out well.

I had horrible 'salt creep' below my bulkheads. Leaks.
Loosened them and they sealed better.
