Generally, you will get a "cycle" of spikes, which it seems you already got ammonia and nitrites. You are into the nitrate spike, do a small wc 10-15% to help reduce the nitrate a bit and test the water and record the readings. In a few days test the water again, and if the nitrate raised do another wc maybe about 20% test the water and record the reading. After a few days test the water again, your nitrate should be 0 or very close. When you get past the nitrate part of the cycle I would suggest waiting another few days before adding livestock, and when you do add it slowly meaning a couple inverts(snails, crabs, etc) and a fish and then no new livestock for a couple weeks, I'm sure you prob already know but you will be slowly building up the bacteria needed to keep your params in check and adding too much too quick will cause a mini cycle and possibly kill all your livestock. You will know the cycle is complete when you read 0 for amm, nitri, and nitra its a pretty long process but it seems like you are being patient just keep it up and you'll have a sweet reef patientiance is virtue in this hobby.
