Hello I'm new to the hobby and I'm starting a 125 gallon reef tank. I don't wanna buy the most expensive leds but I want good ones! Can you guys help me and give me some product names that you would recommend Or if anyone is selling old leds that are in good condition let me know

If you want to DIY, try typing in ledlightingforreeftanks and several sites will display. If you want off the shelf I can only tell you about the ones I have which are the radion xr30w pro's I have absolutely no issues with these lights had them since they fist came out. Only issue I have is with the reef link
I bought and as it turns out the problem is with my IP not the reef link.Hope this helps.

Yeah I've thought about those but they are quite pricey

A local guy who's sometimes on here runs the Ocean Revive S026 that I got to see in person. I have to say, I was pretty impressed especially for the price.
I just searched them up, have you used these leds before ? Is it something I should look in to purchasing?

Read his review, he's been running them over a year and keeps some great corals. The color it was in person was making me think of replacing one of my DiY fixtures with one since I'm just running Royal Blues and Cool Whites. I could never afford a Radion, but this is in my price range and definitely nicer than what I can make for a hundred bucks.

Yeah I just saw a few videos on them and they look very nice and look really well made I might have to look in to these more. Thank you for showing me these!

I prefer The Cree X series LEDs.

There are 28 different color bins of their XT-E Cool White and 5 different Intensity Bins. I've found that their 7.5K R4 or R5 works best for reef applications.

To this add their 450nm Royal Blue. There is a huge difference between 450 and 465nm when it comes to color pop.

A 2:1 Ratio of Royal Blue to Cool White makes an excellent base. To this you can add more LEDs like 410-420nm Violet and 660nm Red to suit your taste.

Generic 3 watt LED do not guarantee intensity or spectrum bins like Cree. In fact they are "like a box of chocolates, you really don't know what you're going to get". This can make them more expensive as you will need more for the same intensity and their inefficiency leads to greater heat.

Where can I get these?

There was a guy selling an atlantik v1 but with a tank that long it would need 2 of them.
