Hello all, i have a 72 X 18 X 24 in tank that i am adding corals to. I have done some research and the light that i started out with is a 72in full spectrum 40w light. I dont think this will cut it with the new corals. Can anyone help me decide what i should do as far as lighting? My tank does have a custom stand with a wooden lid on it so i dont think hanging light will work. Help!

Viparspectra lights get good reviews, so do Reefbreeder's.
I have been looking at the 164w Viparspectra. They have pretty good pricing. My lighting would be 6 to 8 in above the water because i have a stand with a lid. Is that too low or does it make a difference? Is it adjustable for that sort of thing.
