Hey all. Ive got a basic reef light on my 125 gallon six foot tank. Problem theres no blue light at all just white. Im wondering if anyone has a good light to recommend for a budget? Would like to stay under 400 total for all lights. I cant go higher than that but hope I can find something around 200 or 300

6ft is a lot of area to cover for that price. You have a couple options, both will not cover the tank, but will be a system you can add on too.
1. Either on here or OfferUp find some Radion G3 xr30's. If you get the right ones they can be mobius updated. Usually go for a couple hundred a piece.
2. This... maybe... if these are real they have a good following.
@noopsyche is this real?
I will check those out! And yeah I figured I just didnt know if there was one out there that wasnt a couple hundred each light

Can I get away with 3 red sea 50 leds?

I have two Smatfarm on my 40 Breeder - really like them. I've heard good about the NooPsyche K7 as well.
Can't beat either for the price new.

Depending on what you are keeping in the tank, get two and add a third later as your budget allows.

What type of coral you intend to keep will make a difference. I have 6 noopsyche k7 V3 lights over a 6ft 180 and could probably grow anything. I'm getting 300 par on the bottom where one of my clams is at 70% power. You could probably get by with 3 on a 125 as it's not as deep as a 180 and could always add more later. I actually prefer the color I can get with them better than my radion xr15 gen 4 light I was running.

Ah okay!! I will check them out. Im still fairly new to corals so I dont know what I want to keep more of! Ive got a torch, kenya tree, zoas, mushrooms and hammer corals in that tank so far. I just tried goni in my 70 with the red sea lights! But I will check the one on amazon for sure!

Yeah those dont look bad at all for the price! Probably my best bet. Have to get one each paycheck though lol

Two Visparspectra 165w, is about $350.
But only if your hanging from ceiling.

Or

Two Nicrew Hypereef 150w, about same price but has a arm to hang from the back.

They push a ton of PAR, so mount high.

For an extra $150, you could add 2 48” T5’s, say a ATI Blue plus and Antinic.

Going to toss in 21LED Reefbars in the mix. They’re quite powerful for the price, and you could start with one 68” Pro and add more in the future. No programmable dimming, unfortunately.
