Need nelp dosing coppersafe

Hello everybody! I'm having a little confusion dosing coppersafe. According to everything I've been reading it should be close to 2 ml per gallon. https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/proper-dosing-of-coppersafe.309726/
Other posts have people using much less. So far I've dosed 10 ml into 16 gallons and hanna checker shows 1.23. Does that sound about right? I did the test twice and got identical results. Thx in advance for any reply!

2ml per gallon will be way overdosed.

Just keep dosing small amounts and testing until you reach your desired target. The consistency varies from bottle to bottle, so it has proven difficult to give a preset dosing amount.

I had intended to ramp it up more slowly because I'm Doing a Hoevens Wrasse and 3 anthias. So I added 5 ml per day for 2 days. Looks like that is about 2/3 of the needed dose. So 5 ml more should be over 1.8. The fish are doing fine and still eating like little pigs. I've already done 2 rounds of prazi and 2 rounds of metro/kana.

I agree, perhaps dose 1ml in AM 1ml in PM for next couple days while testing until you reach your desired target. I treat at 1.75ppm
