Funny things going on over at Vertex, low stock across the board inventory wise at most major retailers, they have been MIA since before Christmas.

I got the impeller and checked it out and length and with it matches but fixed the old impeller as I waited for the new one and it been running till now so figure don’t fix swap till it really broke lol

Ran a omega 150 on 75 gal for 2 years. Not happy with noise or junk output. Tried air restriction. Bought a octo elite 150 which has vario 2 dc pump. Running at speed 3 (speed 1 to 5). Very happy with results. You might get a vario 2s pump and retrofit to vertex 150. Ports look the same, but I haven't tried. Is the moral that the omega 150 was oversized? Followed the +1 rule, popular at the time.
