Thanks! I checked out the chart. Should I start out even lower than what they recommend to be safe? My tank is new and doesn't have lights so there's no algae, just high nitrates. Does that matter?Yes, there's a chart to help you out. Take your baseline nitrate reading then start low and do daily dose. Take weekly reading and adjust up or down. Obviously as you add stock and feeding changes you will adjust. It's the easiest type of carbon dosing because you can dial it in pretty easily. I recommend weekly nitrate test and small changes in dosage and you'll be happy.
