Ok , I have a 110 gallon tank, dim. 4 ft lg , 18 inches wide x 28 inches deep. I will have differents types of coral and some fish in this tank. I found a setup for sale which is 8 mths old, and reasonable , here is the info, will this be TOO MUCH for my size tank? I dont wanna bleach everything out that i add. 2X LUMEN MAX ELITE 250/400w MOGUL PENDANT reflectors w/glass shields (13 x 13 x 4) 2X 250w RADIUM 20K bulbs 2X GALAXY 250/400w magnetic ballasts with easy disconnect cords (120v) its got some cool features also. All equipment was bought in january and set-up in february, its in immaculate condition. I recently have a hood on my tank with 4 t5's mounted inside 4 in from water and will probably remove it and hang these lights from the ceiling. maybe 14 inches from the water. I also have a 2 piece glass flip up cover that i purchased with the tank originally. Which is in the closet, if i hang the lamp fixtures above the tank should i use these glass covers or should i just add wire to contain my fish from jumping out?/ Still have not purchased this stuff yet, just need opinions from experience please. my temp in the room stays 70-72 and not in a window. dont wanna buy a chiller either.:squigglemouth:
