Ok, so I'm interested and have a deal worked out for a used Waterbox 220.6. Its a little under two years old but there is a ding/dent in the glass. It was created during Aqua scaping. I've only seen pics and the video attached. It's a 3 hour drive. The price I'm getting for is good but not great. I really really want this tank but I'm concerned. Take a look and please chime in! Would you buy it?

Agree. That looks like a problem waiting to happen... And damage would outweigh any savings you may think you're getting.

Don't! A dent on the glass could be very risky and catastrophic. My opinion.

Nope.

I had a tank I didn't trust in the past and would wake up in the middle of the night thinking it was busting and ruining my house and drowning my dog.

dang I was afraid you’d all say that. I don’t trust my own opinion seeing as how bad I want the tank but it’s been a eating me up since I saw it. As much as it upsets me I’m going to pass…

good choice, I am sure another deal will come up sometime soon!

Yeah... I wouldn't chance it. I'd have to get the tank dirt cheap and then I'd replace the panel.

I hope your right! There are actually quite a few on Facebook Market place right now. I'm willing to drive pretty far to find a good deal. This tank was exactly what I wanted though so its hard. Do I settle for a little less then what I really really want? Not an easy one to answer when I want just about anything that is bigger then what I got now! Really don't want to do this and then be upgrading again in 6 months. If I was patient enough I would just bite the bullet and order a custom tank.. Well that and I'm cheap despite wanting the best! lol

there was once a 60 gallon rimless with a sump and stand and tons of other equipment, for like $500 where I live, and I missed out on that one ( couldn't convince parents my bedroom floor could hold 600lbs of fish tank ) but I still have managed to find some great deals!
