If you could have an amazing chance to purchase a large aquarium (240) at an incredible price but you knew you'd be moving in a year and a half would you still set up the tank? If so what special considerations like FOWLR or such would you take?

Part of me says to go for it and another part is saying dont do it so I need y'all to be my voice of reason.

That's so true. I am retiring from the army after 20yrs so that is how I know I'm moving but yes nothing is guaranteed so that is 1 vote for getting it. ;-)

Thanks

I would have that bad boy running tomorrow and try to plan out the move when the time comes. you might find someone on here to house your fish until the tanks is setup at the new place. fish are pretty hardy most of the time.

Id go with something smaller thats easier to tear down later. Thers no reason you cant upgrade in the future. Id like to tell you to jump in but you gotta think about the live stock first and do whats best for them.

hi,

as a min i'd get the tank, but would i set it up? only if i knew how to move it and all the fish safely.
