Need plumbing help ASAP pls

So I called BRS and I asked if I wanted a 1 inch plumbing on my tank what pvc size do I need to get? I was told to get all 1" pvc . I just ordered 150 bucks worth of pvc and I received my package will 1 inch pvc pipes and elbows.

How does a 1 inch pvc pipe fit into a 1 inch PVC elbow? What am I missing here? pic shows 3/4 elbow goes fine in the 1 inch but the other side as you can see will not fit... Frustrated!!

It would appear in your picture that you have a street 90 degree elbow that allows direct fit to another fitting.....in this case a 45 degree "standard" elbow. To connect that 45 elbow to the coupling, you need to use a piece of pipe.

If you have a 1 inch fitting then the O.D. should be larger than 1 inch so the I.D. fits a 1 inch piece of pipe

1" connectors such as 90, 45 or unions are slightly larger than 1" and they can not connect to each other. In order to connect them you need 1" strait pvc, which fit into the connectors. If you have a 1" bulkhead all the plumbing you need should be 1".

Go on YouTube and look up how to connect PVC pipe together. There will be videos showing exactly how to prime and cement/weld the pieces together. BRStv had a couple videos as well in how to do it. Once you see these, you'll see how easy it is.

Your local hardware store will have this stuff at a fraction of the cost and you can return what you don't use!
