I just got a Icecap Kalk reactor and was planning on using my BRS dosing pump but I think its going to be too slow for my 120 gallon tank. I have an apex that I was planning on using to control the pump. What would you guys get?

1. Toms Aqua Lifter run by an apex

2. Kamoer X1 - this would be running at least half the day and might not be sufficient for my sized tank

3. Feeding it with my Tunze ATO. Not really fond of this idea because it seems more risky but could be swayed.

4. Other - any other ideas? Im trying to avoid another huge expense for this setup

Many use a small MJ1200 pump for their Kalk reactor. You will just need to time how much will pump into your tank, and then program the apex to run x amount of seconds per every hour.

People are able to get precise dosings with such a powerful pump? I’ll take a look into that. Thanks

Can’t the Kamoer dose up to 45 gallons per day? I just bought one for my Kalk reactor since I’m hoping it has sufficient capacity
