Which are the best bulbs to get a nice blue, but not to blue look with the TEk lighting? Im about to order the 36 inch 6 bulb fixture! Just want it to look real crisp!

Well.... If you haven't already ordered, I like the Geismann Aquablue + and True Actinic. The Aquablue + is actually a white bulb....

I'm running those as well in a 4x39w Tek. When the Aquablue comes on, it trumps the other 3 actinic bulbs. Gives a nice color. Getting good zoa growth too!

i would recommend looking at what "The Grim Reefer" has recommended over on RC. He has done a lot of work with t5 and some studies backing his selection.

I ordered the fixture but I cant remember what bulbs I ordered or if I even ordered any of them. I didnt wanna spend a whole 600 that night lol. If I did order some I ordered 2 of the AquaBlue bulbs and 1 of the Midday bulbs. So id only have to get 3 when I set it up. Which those will be 2 of the pure actinic bulbs and the other actinic one!

From what I know Geismann bulbs are not the best with par.

i will be replacing my bulbs soon and am going with the ati bulbs. seem to have good standing with people who have used them....
