I'm personally a big fan of the Biodigest bacteria ;-)So would you suggest in this instance, adding something like Dr Tims, or Colony, or another form of bacteria?
I was always concerned I could overdose bacteria, only for it to die off as not enough nutrients to control it, causing a bigger issue.
I do dose them biweekly to keep the probiotic bacteria population diverse enough to deal with all sorts of nutrients and waste that need decomposing.
Also I do recommend to most people that are dealing with an imbalance in bacteria population, to perform a 2-3 times initial overdose of the recommended dose of biodigest.
From experience there is no real overdosing that happened or I heard about.
However it's never wrong to take it slow.
Bacteria refreshing works very well when carbs are used for nutrient reduction in form of one of the many's out there.
