Hey R2R long story but for my AWC system and ATO I will need 8 push to connect unions.

I know john guest are prob. the go to but as i will need quite a few any other brands that come to mind?

found these on amazon with free shipping

any good?

I like the aquaticlife ones. They are affordable, double push, and include the locking collar.

I guess mur-lock is another brand.
IDK just trying to find 10 with out spending crazy amount of $$
Murloc is the best. Don’t go cheap on plumbing, you’ll regret it.

You can get John Guest for less then $2 each. I would not want to try to save a few dollars and have my AWC system leak

i have an assortment of john guest (home depot) and shark bite (lowes) on my ro and home made ato...all the 1/4 inch ones work fine, the guest shutoff valves look a little beefier than the shark bite...however on a 3/8 bulkhead fitting off my ato tank 2 john guest fittings leaked and i wound up getting a mur loc for that...all the fittings that came on the brs ro/di were murloc also...they supposedly have double o-rings in them...i just havent found anywhere local that carries them

8 unions? Are you asking for a leak? Even the best stuff fails and every union increases that chance no matter the brand. Are you piecing together a bunch of sections of line? If so, money would be better spent buying the line in the length needed instead.

re did my hole house. and we put in 4 RODI 1/4" tubbing thorough the wall for basement AWC and ATO so I have 4 tube that I cant remove as the contracter that he know better that me when I ask for 2" plumping he used pex so ad the very lest I need 6 unions
2 for ATO
2 for AWC fresh SW
2 for AWC dirty water

but yes I hear you more union sucks but what can I do?

Here is what I am working with

It was a good idea to think ahead and run lines in the ceiling/walls. If your pump is going to be in the room that seems to be unfinished then a small leak, as long as you're in the area enough to notice it quickly, possibly wouldn't be a big deal. I have 4 of the cheapest unions I could find on Amazon on my AWC and have never had a problem, although if they do leak they're in a unfinished room with concrete floors, so as long as it doesn't leak out a lot of water it doesn't matter.

How much damage it could do if they did leak should factor in to how much you spend on them. Ultimately $30 for some unions isn't that much money if they save you a damaged floor like @reefinatl mentioned.

HA I so wish he did 2" pex it was hard getting what he did in there. I was hopping it would have been 2" ABS so lots of room for what I needed. was hoping to add the DOS to the basement for noise reasons. doing 1 gal/day of AWC

my thoughts too but now I need lots of unions. lol mixing station will be in unfinished basement so half of the unions not so wirried about but the other half could make quite a mess if they pop off.

looks like mur-lok is hard to find out of stock or they just dont carry them.
any favorite places for get em at?

I found JG unions at supply house BUT I like the double O rigs of murlok
