So I'm trying to figure out my 90 gallon with a 20 gallon sump. I'm planning on a mixed reef and was looking at the Reef Octopus 150 INT but not sure if it's overkill. They have 3 categories for gallon specs but I'm not sure what filtration level of a mixed reef is. Can someone please clarify? Also, what do you think about this unit? Is there a better recommendation or does this thing kick butt?

Thanks!

I would rate your skimmer needs on fish load.

And most tanks run a medium to heavy bio load.
