Need Skimmer

I came home from visiting my son in the hospital one morning and found my house filled with smoke. The smoke was coming from under the tank. Apparently you can not let a skimmer collection cup fill for a few days without emptying it. Anyway it overflowed and caused a small fire and made a hole in the skimmer rendering it useless. I have a 135 reef aquarium. I can not spend a lot because i have medical bills from my son being in hospital for two months. I need something that will get me by for a few months until i can really buy something. I just need it so that the fish will stay healthy because the tank is the only thing my son enjoys right now since he is still recovering. Like i said it does not have to be a spectacular skimmer just something to get me by. Thanks in advance. Pm me if you have anything.

skimmer

I have an in sump skimmer with a rio 2100 pump. Sealife system is the brand. Came with my used 55 gallon setup along with wet-dry filter.
I removed all of that and bought a hang on back skimmer. $50 plus actual shipping cost from 29020
