Need some advice..... Flex 32.5

I have the Flex 32.5 and cannot find anywhere the PS1 skimmer so I was going to get the Aquamaxx WS1 but that is slightly larger.
On this tank there are media baskets on both sides then in the middle is the skimmer and return pump.
I was going to take the right side media basket area and remove that and move the return pump over and just drill a new hole for the return water nozzle.
I am used to the bigger tanks with sumps and such and not used to space restrictions.
I would still be able to put media in bags on that side but just not use the "basket" / foam block
Actually I still could with some trimming and i would keep the very right wall up. I only need and inch more lol.

Have you thought of a HOB? Aquamaxx has one: AquaMaxx HOB-1.5 Hang-On-Back Protein Skimmer

I did think about that and decided to keep it in the tank/sump area.
I order the skimmer I read another post somewhere where it fit in a 5 inch spot so hopefully it does otherwise ill reconfigure the area

No prob, AIOs can be tough some times figuring out what fits well

I made my own skimmer for my flex 32. Still have everything the way it was.
