As of right now I have a 29g nano cube. Its been up and running for 11 months now. I have 2 clowns, a diamond goby ( please don't bash me for this) and a copperband butterfly that I added 2 weeks ago. It was the first one I had ran across that actually eats frozen and is healthy. And I knew I was upgrading so I went ahead and got him. I live in Ky and there's only 2 decent sw fish stores within 50 miles of me. I just got a 75g with a 20g sump. What steps should I take to transfer my coral and fish over? I am planning on buying new sand. But I'm not going to add any new rock yet. I know the ammount of rock i have isn't enough for a 75g but I want to see how what I already have fits in the tank before i add more rock, and my reasoning for this is that I don't want a huge rock wall. I'm going for more of a minimal scape

Have you already purchased your new sand? If not I have a recommendation that will probably save you enough $ to even add some dry rock at the same time. I have a 28g as well and I've had a 75g before and I know you'll want to buy some more rock when you do the transfer. It'll look like you have one small island with a great big beach lol.

aragonite This is what I used on my tank upgrade and I'm extremely pleased. It's nicely priced too!

They also sell dry rock if you are interested. I've used it as well.
